How not to repost when making private posts public again

  Hi there I have made all my past posts private and have begun archiving and making them public again but my email followers are getting them all reshared to their inboxes and this is BAD!!!! how do I make my posts public again without this happening..

  Unfortunately you can’t stop the emails.
