How often does the sitemap.xml file get updated?

  I have updated my sites titles and some of the page links but they are not reflected in the sitemap on mattkinsella.com/sitemap.xml. How often is it updated? Can I force it to update? Thanks for your help.

  Hi, which pages or posts did you update and what types of updates did you make? I see the last change on your site being the Links page on September 9th. If you can let us know some of the details of what you changed we can help narrow this down. Thanks!

  I changed How To Be Lucky – The Book http://mattkinsella.com/how-to-be-lucky-2/ (page title and link changed) and I changed the link to Free eBooks http://mattkinsella.com/free-lucky-ebooks/

  The sitemap is updated whenever you publish a post. I just tried something right now, but I can’t guarantee that it will work.

  If you don’t want t publish anything now, I recommend publishing a post, then quickly deleting it.
