How often is a wordpress.com hosted blog backuped?
-
Hi, I didn’t find an answer to my question, so I decided to post it here.
I would like to know how often a free wordpress.com hosted blog is backuped, and how many backup generations are available for how many days.
The background of my question is a friend of mine who deleted his blog due to a panic reaction; this happened two days ago on 01.06.2016.
Is there any possibility to restaure his blog, or at least to get access to a backup of his blog?
Thanks in advance, best greetings, UlfThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Once a blog has been deleted, it is gone. Read this, please:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/As for how often a blog is backed up, read the comments in this older thread:

Thank you very much for this quick answer.
It is of course not helpful for my friend, but at least a warning for all bloggers to take care of their blogs and to prevent themselves on doing foolish things like deleting their blogs…

It takes ignoring multiple warnings that blog URL deletion is meant to be a permanent act to delete any wordpress.COM site.
All support docs are here https://support.wordpress.com/
Unfortunately, it seems that your friend deleted the site http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ rather than deleting the content http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made except for the one stated here http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/ for URLs deleted 2 or more years ago.

Note that your friend can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
