How post a blog under an individual page and on my homepage?

I’ve made categories and pages.
So for my pages/menus I have ‘home, about me, words of wisdom (sub cats: careers, relationships), travel and contact’. However, whenever I attempt to publish a post it only publishes to my home page? When I go to publish something to the individual page, it looks like a mini blog within the blog? I’m not too sure how to publish a story, have it appear on my homepage and also categorize it somewhere else.

I don’t see any categories added to your menu. The items listed in your submenu link to pages, https://rosietintedviews.wordpress.com/advice-from-a-trying-adult/career-woman/ and https://rosietintedviews.wordpress.com/advice-from-a-trying-adult/relationships-and-other-humans/. Static pages only show the content you add to them at My Site ->Pages, and they won’t show your posts.
To have your posts listed for those items you need to delete the pages from the menu, and add the categories themselves to the menu instead.
