How post new that does NOT appear on first page, but merely in category?

Hope the headline says it all:
Sometimes, I just want to post something insignificant and don’t want it to show on front page, just in its category.
Can I fix this this in some easy way?TIA

Please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your nickname to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting). We can’t help without that.

All posts that you publish will appear on the main blog page. There is no way to make them ONLY show up in a category.

it looks like i somehow made it. the article does not appear on the startscreen. but the problem is
1. i dont want it
2. i dodnt know how i did
3. i cannot make the post appear on the start page… -
@invad0r, the blog linked to your username is NOT a wordpress.COM blog so we cannot help you with that.
For self-hosted blog you need to make your inquiries over at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ which is where self-hosted wordpress blogs are supported.

@jonssonkungen, It is possible to have a static “front” page and to use a categories widget to then list from that category. Click on my username to see how I did it. Search for “static page” on the support or forums page to see where I got the idea (or rather where the person who gave me the idea sent me).
BTW, you can set your username to link to your primary blog by going to Your Profile under Users on your Dashboard. That way people won’t have to ask you for a link.
