How protected is my domain name?

A Chinese company has been making inquiries re my domain name. They have been advised not to use but intend to go ahead and use it! What are my rights? And how can I protect it!?

Hey there Lynette,
As long as your domain is in good standing, nobody else can get their hands on it.
You’ve given letissierdesigns.com private registration which is a deeper level of security, and that’s great.
If the company is contacting you directly, this is a phishing scam, and I recommend blocking or blacklisting their email address.
You don’t have to be worried….but you also should not be annoyed by these people. Block them! :)
Per your site’s updates page, you have auto renew set up. So even if you forget to renew, it’ll be done automatically, and you’re not in danger of losing the domain name.
