How safe is my blog content on free plan from being accidentally lost?
-
I am on a free plan and have been for a few years. I cant find any info on how safe my content is from being lost/ deleted accidentally.
Does anyone know if its secure? As I don’t want to print a copy of all my posts unless there is a risk it could be lost or deleted by word press.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You are the only person with the power to delete any content from your site, (unless you have added others as Admins). WordPress.com keeps data on multiple servers. I think a site is as safe here as it can be anywhere, as long as the Martians don’t invade and the world doesn’t end.
PS: If you want you can backup your site’s content via “settings”. -

Yes. You can export your content to an xml file for peace of mind if you wish. (It won’t upset your site..it’s just a copy). This feature has moved since I last looked and is now found under “Tools”.
