How secure is wordpress?

How secure is wordpress? Last time someone told me he has my password and can do anything with my site, i went and changed my password but because he has already access my account in his system, he was able to enter me page and deleted my page. Up till now, i have not had access to my account. What i gets now is that felixevangelisticassociation has been deleted.

The authors have deleted this site.The only time blogger’s blogs get hacked is when they provide information for others to hack them.
1. Who has access to your log-in information and/or email address?
2. Did you use the same password for your email account and your blog?
3. Are you sharing log-in information with anyone or leaving it where anyone can locate it?
4. Are you remaining logged in on your computer so anyone can come along and access your blog through it?
Go to your email program and change the password to a very difficult one because that’s how many hackers gain access to blogs.

Hi there,
As timethief mentioned, please change the password on your email account as soon as possible. If the person you mentioned has access to your email, he can use that to change your password here on WordPress.com.
Once that is done, please reset your account password to ensure no one else has access to your account.
Please also set up Two Step Authentication. That adds a second level of security to prevent unauthorized access to your account.
Once you have done that, please let me know and I will see if we can recover your site for you.

I have confirm that the person had access to my email account, I saw in my trash box how he deleted my wordpress account and also deleted the mails in my inbox. Please I will like to have my account back.

Can you please also enable Two Step Authentication for your account? That will protect your account against that person accessing it, even if they regain access to your email account.
