Every time you publish a new post it appears at the top of your blog posts page and pushes the others down. This is so when you have hundreds of posts on your site visitors always see the newest one first without having to do loads of scrolling.
However if youโd like your first post to stay at the top of your site as a useful introduction about you and your site then you can achieve that by making that particular post a โstickyโ: https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-visibility/
