How t make avatar link to my blog?

HI, I notice that some people have avatars that link to their blogs, but mine doesn’t do it. Can anyone help me out here?

Here at wordpress.com, avatars are not linked to blogs. You can however link your username to your blog, if you have not. Go to users > my profile and put hour complete blog URL into the website field ( http://psychscribe.wordpress.com/ ) and the click “update profile. Then when you comment on wordpress.com blogs, while logged in, they can click on your name to get to your blog.

Ok, I will do as you suggest. Oh! So the comments I see that link to a person’s avatar come from other blog hosts? Thanks for your quick reply!

Well if you go to my site and check recent posts, “Garick” and the one underneath him click to their sites…just FYI…. I

And if you mouse over your avatar in your comments, you will see it’s linked to your blog.
If you go to the comments on the post page, the avatars are not linked.
I learned something new, Avatars link to the URL in the comments widget.

Where is the comments widget? I’m still having a hard time linking my avatar and name, though I’ve put my website in the URL spaces at both the user and update profile pages… Any ideas?

I am having the same problem, when I leave a comment on someone else’s wordpress blog with my user names (Lunes) the link back to my current primary blog does not occur. Instead it links to the first blog I had and deleted. Is there anyway of updating this information so that when I leave a comment on a blog a reader can click my name and be directed to http://bijouxandbanter.wordpress.com/

In your dashboard go to users > your profile and change the “website” link to your current blog and then click “update profile.”
