  i’m new to wordpress, so hello!

  here’s my trouble. i have added the “pages” and “links” widgets. however, when i click on the sidebar to edit the links, it says “there are no options for this widget.” for “pages,” it asks me for a title, how to sort it, and what to exclude… i went into the FAQ, and searched around, trust me, but i’m not quite sure how to go about adding pages and links! if anyone could help, it would be highly appreciated. thanks!

  The links and the pages widgets simply add that function in your sidebar. To add or edit links, you go to Manage > Links. To add pages, you go to Write > Pages.

  Also, please link your user name to your blog as explained in the sticky at the top of the forum:

  Go into your dashboard -> users -> your profile -> then scroll down to ‘contact info’. In the spot where it says ‘website’ fill in the address of your blog and save the changes.
  Now… when you comment here and on other blogs, your name will link to your blog. If you do this before you post your request for help, it will allow forum volunteers to be able to help you quicker since they won’t have to ask you for a link and wait until you come back to post one.
