Hi there –
When you login at https://wordpress.com/ find My Sites in the upper left corner of the screen, click on the site you wish to edit, and the dashboard will load down the lefthand side of your screen.

No it does not. it has stats, plan, blog posts, pages, themes, sharing, people, domains, settings. Where is the dashboard please?

@bbcradiodrama ” stats, plan, blog posts, pages, themes, sharing, people, domains, settings”. That IS the current WordPress.com dashboard. You can do most stuff from there. Older users will have another button below “Settings” that says “wp-admin”. Your new site won’t have that but you can still access it by saving the link in your browser.
