How to access htaccess file

    How do i access .htaccess file. i have some code to add on .htaccess file for speed optimization and i couldnt find it thorugh FTP.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    We do not offer an .htacess file on our managed hosting service. That is something you will find on self-hosted WordPress sites, which are sites that you create on a “traditional web host” like Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc.

    However, we use a custom (fully managed) hosting environment on WordPress.com that does not offer this option. If I can ask, what are you trying to access that file for? Perhaps I can suggest a workaround?
