How to activate a theme

I want to use the theme ‘Toujours’ on my site. I have chosen the theme and activated it, but the content has not changed. For example, the theme includes a slideshow at the top of the page, but this has not been applied. How do I get the theme active on my site?

You need to follow the theme’s setup instructions:

Every theme has a page like that where you can learn how to set up every feature of it.

Thanks for your advice. We did do that but there seem to be some problems with that theme – other themes we chose worked as they should, but not ‘Toujours’. I appreciate your help.

The theme Toujours, like many others, displays on top a slideshow of your featured posts. So you will need to add some posts first – it seems like there aren’t any right now. You’ll want to add a featured tag to these posts to identify them.
