How To Add A Background Image To Sidebars?

  How do I add a background image to both sidebars and have it continue down to the end of the page? I have a picture just behind the widget titles, is there a way to have that and a background for the entire sidebar?

  To clear things up, I just need the sidebar color to keep going all the way down to the bottom of the page instead of stopping at the last widget.

  There are only 2 Volunteers who help with CSS and they have jobs. I assume they are enjoying the Memorial Day long weekend and that’s why they have not posted to your 3 CSS editing threads.
