How to add a custom theme to my website?

    I’m a novice in the world of wordpress, and I have a custom theme I wish to add to my site. However, the ‘add new theme’ option under themes isn’t there. My site is hosted on wordpress and as is my domain. I am using the free version.

    Uploading Custom Themes

    Uploading a third-party or custom theme is possible only on self-hosted sites using the WordPress.org software. This means that you cannot upload any themes to your WordPress.com site. Learn more.

    Instead of uploading a theme, try checking out the current theme collection to see if there’s an option there that will work well for you.
