How to add a dynamic menu in the Home page?

    Hi, am a newbies in WordPress,
    I am trying to make a dynamic menu, which will expand or collapse depending on which ‘Main Title’ you choose to see. It will avoid to have long text on the page.

    @Serros,

    Are you referring to a WordPress.com site. If so, what is the address (URL)? On WordPress.com sites, you may achieve what you describe above as follows:

    1. Add categories to posts, one or more to each post which you want to display links to in the menu.
    2. Assigning categories to posts automatically generates category pages. You will display links to these in a custom menu.
    3. Create and activate a custom menu, including among its items links to category pages.

    Thanks for reply, but it’s not excatly what I wish to do.
    Let me give you example:
    http://kbs-network.com/index.php/en/international
    You can see that the menus in the middle of the page are dynamic and expand/collapse when you click on the titles.
    Can we do that in WordPress?

    Yes, a WordPress.com custom menu may have top items that are post categories, that display drop-down menus. If the top item is a page, then the items in the drop-down will ordinarily be child pages. If the top item is a post category, the items in the drop-down menu might be posts assigned to that category. You would “nest” the links to the posts beneath the corresponding category as described in the Organize Your Menu section of the Custom Menus support page, where it says:

    You can also add a drop-down to your menu using the drag-and-drop feature.

    1. Add the link to your menu that will appear in a drop-down list.
    2. Drag it and drop it directly beneath the main menu item you want it to be found under.
    3. Drag it again, this time to the right, so it indents beneath the main menu item, and drop it there.

    Drop-down menus in the default menu will be automatically generated when parent-child relationships between pages (pages only, not posts) are created.

    Drop-down menus in custom menus are not automatically generated. They must be created manually.
