How to add a external widget to the blog page?

  I want to add an external widget to my blog for example the ‘flag counter’ external widget (which is not originally from the wordpress). but when i get the HTML (or a series of words and numbers), I dont know where should I put. I tried to open the source page but realized that I could not easily pasted the HTML on the CSS page.

  can someone please help me explain the steps to add the external widgets?

  Hi! You’ll want to post any extra HTML into a text widget and add that to your sidebar.

  However, if the code includes any JavaScript, Flash, or iFrames it will be stripped from the widget for security reasons. We have full details on this at:
