    Hi @tamako25,

The site atarashii.de appears to be a WordPress.org self hosted site. This is WordPress.com forums so we can only give limited help. The difference between .ORG and .COM are found here:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

If you are referring to a different URL please let us know what that URL is so we can help you out! :)

For this question I looked up the Cubic theme as it is available for WordPress.com as well as .ORG. The Cubic theme does not have a Homepage slider area as it displays the latest posts in a grid format by design. The walkthrough for the theme on .COM can be found here.

For .ORG sites you can visit the specific Cubic support forum here.

    I hope this helps!

Hi, regarding what @tamako25 is saying. I am using the theme: Gazette which you are allowed to add a slider on the homepage where the slider shows de latest articles. I think it should appear automatically, but I posted one post to try it and it doesn’t work. Anybody can help me with this please?

I need to start this blog soon
    Thank you !

  • ariadnawell – there is no slider in Gazette, only a featured content grid. Please follow the steps in the Gazette setup guide, and if you need further help, feel free to start a new thread. Thanks!

tamako25 – if you’re running Cubic on a self-hosted site, you could add a slider with a plugin that adds that functionality. You may also need a child theme to get that running – follow the plugin’s instructions for that.

nixiack8 – thanks for helping out!
