How to add a hyperlink to icons in the header
-
Hello,
I am using superhero theme and customised it via the css. I added two social icons to the header through the css. I would like to be directed to the right links, facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Champalimaud-Neuroscience-Programme/178514282200728
and to twitter link: https://twitter.com/Neuro_CF
I know that there is a way to do so through the html code but I only have the access to change css.Could you please help me with that?
Thanks

You almost got it correct.
Current links behind the Facebook and twitter icons are pointing to empty pages.
You just need to change them to custom links ( your fb and twitter profiles) using the steps mentioned in the Add Custom Links support document.

Thank you very much, it works great!!
I would also like to attach a different url address to the logo on the header. The web site is for a conference, but when clicking the logo we should be redirected to the foundation’s web site which organise this conference.
Could you please help with attaching the following url to the logo of my site:
http://www.fchampalimaud.org/en/Thanks again

Here at WordPress.com, you are limited to using CSS for modifications and the option to edit the HTML is not available. You cannot modify links using CSS only.
Would it work to add a link to the foundation as one of the main menu items?
