how to add a link in header and same in footer

  i have a problem guyz

  can u just tell me how to add some links in header and footer
  just like adding contact form and archive pages etc…
  any reply would be greatly appreciated…

  The short version.
  You cannot add links to either the header or footer of a wordpress.com blog. WordPress.com is a multi-user blogging platform and bloggers here cannot edit their themes. If they could then any changes made would affect all other bloggers who had the same theme.

  Most themes have widgets for Pages display and for Archives and information regarding how to set them up is found in the FAQs http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/12/24/what-is-a-widget/
  And this is also helpful for understanding widgets and how to use them.
