How to add a link to a “text widget”?

  I need to add a link within the text widget. I would like to have as Click here. So the viewer can click the words and go to the link. Does anyone have the code for that? I’m finding the old posts on the subject confusing and convoluted.

  The easiest way to do this is to create a draft post and insert the link. Once you have it looking exactly the way you want to you can copy the code from the HTML (code) editor into a text widget and delete the draft page.
