How to add a new theme?

  Hi :)

  Here is my problem: I want to upload a beautiful new theme which I found on the internet (a .zip file), but I can’t choose it for my website. In the /wp-admin/themes.php, there is no “Add theme” button, I can’t do anything to add this theme…
  Also, I don’t understand why I have the possibility to choose between 357 themes, while a friend of mine said that he has 444 themes (and he doesn’t have the Premium version).

  Could you help me please?

  Adding themes is only for self hosted WordPress sites. On WordPress.com themes can only be activated.

  The reason is that many of these themes have been removed/retired, but users with older accounts may still use those themes from their dashboards.
  But they’re not on themes page:

  In my case, I can use 455 themes.
