How to add a page with a post list
-
Hi,
I’m looking to add a new page with an entire list of all my posts, ever. I’ve looked here http://en.support.wordpress.com/list-pages-shortcode/#using-the-shortcodesAnd I tried [display-posts] but that seems to list only ten posts. Is it possible to make it list ALL posts ever, possibly separated into months?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Use the Archives shortcode in your Page instead. See here:

That’s not correct: the display-posts shortcode can be used to display as many posts as you like, including all posts. Study the doc more carefully:

As far as I know you can’t separate by month – but you can separate by category. -
Display-Posts is definitely more flexible*, but if all you want is a simple list of all your posts in reverse chronological order, the Archives shortcode can do that easily:
[archives]
That will get you post titles. If you want to have a list by month:
[archives type="monthly"]
That will get you a list of months, like the Archives widget.*If you want to get fancy and add things like a featured image or an excerpt of the post, then Display-Posts shortcode is the way to go.

Display-Posts is more flexible in matters of essence too: for example, you can display all the posts in chronological order, or in alphabetical order.
