how to add a photo with caption?
-
Apparently there are different ways to add images. The first batch of images I added has html that starts with [caption id=”attachment_81″…
The second batch I added has html <img class=”alignnone …
I prefer the first batch but I don’t remember how I created those. Any ideas?
You can see these on the gallery page of my site.

Hi,
Caption for photos can be added in the image editor. You can access this image editor via 2 ways:
- Media Libary. Go to the library and select the image you want to caption. Click on the edit button on the top bar. Add your caption in the caption field.
- On the post/page itself. After adding the image onto the page, click on the image to select it. Click on the pencil icon to edit it. Add your caption in the field

From your site, it seems that the caption of the last 2 photos, from Philipines, were added as normal text rather than captions of the photos.
Hope this helps. Cheers!
