  how to add a pin it button to pictures on my blog?

  Are your photos already on Pinterest? If so, you can show them on your blog by copying the pin link and pasting in your post as shown in Embed from Pinterest support doc.

  I don’t know how to add Pin It button if your photos are not already in Pinterest. But this doesn’t make sense to me because you can only let your visitors to pin something that is already on Pinterest.

  We cannot use any of the widgets provided by Pinterest on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. There are code restrictions http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/ and the widgets are JavaScript which will be stripped out by the software here for security reasons.
