how to add a png logo to the header?

  hello dear community,

  noob here any suggestion on how i can add a png logo to the header please?

  Hi There-

  You can add a png logo to your header by Selecting Customize (which is next to themes) > then select Site identity, then click on Add Logo, you should then be able to upload the logo of your choice. Then click on Set As Logo in the bottom right corner.

  After your done be sure to click on Save & Publish.

  @shrimpexperts, Twenty Fourteen does not support the custom logo feature, so you will not find a place to add a logo under Customize > Site Identity.

  Without the WordPress.com Premium or Business Plan upgrades, we can’t use custom CSS to add a logo, so what I would suggest is to incorporate the logo into your header image, perhaps to the left or right of the little guy in the middle. You could also look through out themes and many of them support a custom logo that you can add in the Customizer.

  If you should decide to upgrade, just let us know and we can help with the custom CSS.
