  How to add a slide gallery to a home page in WP (free version). Is it even possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  And how can I install plugins? I don´t have a menu of plugins.

  The theme you are using “Editor” https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/editor/ doesn’t have a native post slider but you could add a slideshow to your front page rather than the tiled gallery you’re using now. Open the Page to edit it and change the Gallery Type from tiled mosaic to slideshow. Update the Gallery and then update your Page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/#editing-a-gallery-or-slideshow

  Alternatively, you might want to consider changing themes to one that has a post slider: https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/post-slider/
