How to add a "subscription box" to a specific page

  I want to add a subscription page. I ahve tired using the “subscription short code” listed on the support page, but it doesn’t work when I publish the page. I want to be able to send a link out via e-mail and FB to a very specific page that is strictly for subscribing to our page.

  Would you please give us a link to the page you’re trying to add the shortcode to?

  The blog is hotmoodymess.com and I’m just going to create a page labeled “subscription” once I know how to insert the “follow by subscription” box. It’s on my sidebar now, but I want it on a page within my blog I can send a link to.

  Just to be sure, are you following the guide at http://en.support.wordpress.com/blog-subscription-shortcode/ ?

  If so, please create the page so we can see what isn’t working out properly.

  I finally figured it out. I wasn’t entering the code with the “text” screen selected, so I didn’t realize there was extra code messing it up. Thanks!!!
