How to add a Telephonenumber Box in Contact Form

Hi, I am using instyle theme with word press. I have a couple of pages where I have added the contact form. Though I would like to add a space where people can leave their telephone numbers in this contact form. But it should not be a mandatory field. It should be optional to guest who write to me.
