How to add a video (one that plays only when pressed) to my sidebar?

ok so I have no clue how to do that i tried but it didnt work what should I add there if I want this link – [youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9l3QqWwGtHI] this image to be about 4cm long and about 2cm tall that makes sense? how will that url look like then? I dont know where to add it could you just modify it for me?

Just tag it for ‘modlook’ if the height and width does not work for you as their instructions didn’t work for me… they say to use &’s in the url and it changes the look of the url once saved to include amp;s etc and video did not play.

Every time I tried their way:

youtube=http : //www .youtu be. com/wat ch ?v=JaN H56 Vpg-A&w=32 0&h=240“” Those &’s changed the look in the widget it was only when I put it in the widget as the url itself that it worked, so I’m not sure why yours was so tall…. (I’ve tried breaking wp.com’s example youtube up so it does not post as a link -
