Hello,iamrishaan!
According to your steps,I have added a Widget of “Custom HTML”,and title is “Your Locations:”,content is “<script type=”text/javascript” id=”clustrmaps” src=”//cdn.clustrmaps.com/map_v2.js?d=6dtpZg_P9tSRxpKMGxS9M2YE6YtaxFsKXwoIjK3sLls&cl=ffffff&w=a”></script>” – generating ClustrMaps’ code.
But when I saved and it shows these message – “There is 1 error which must be fixed before you can save.”
Please Note.

Hi,
If you had selected Globe Widget in Clustr Maps, it requires scripts and WordPress.com doesn’t support scripts.
You need to select Map Widget and copy the given HTML code and paste it in Custom HTML widget.
This is just a work around. Hope that helps.
Thank you.

Hi,iamrishaan!
My error is due to selecting a Map Widget and I never used Globe Widget.
Where do I attach an image?

Hi quanwenzhao,
When you had selected Map Widget it would have given you two options
1. The first method is based on javascript which is the code you have pasted above.
2. The second option is plain image embed code, which is the one you need to paste in the Custom HTML widget.
Go back to http://clustrmaps.com/ -> Select My Websites on top menu.
Click on the Code link under Widget column.
Select Map Widget
Copy the code under the text “Unfortunately some blogging platforms don’t support javascript (Livejournal, Google Sites). In this case the only available option is plain image embed code:” and paste it in Custom HTML widget in WordPress.com Dashboard.Thank you.

Hi,
The code in the above screenshot link is what you need to use. It says an alt attribute must be specified inside image tag. The alt attribute just provides an “alternative description” for the image.
You need to put alt=”Visitor Location” inside the img tag. In between quotes specified below you need to put the code in the screenshot.
<img src=” ” alt=”Visitor Location”>If you are still not able to accomplish the same then i would suggest using geolocation plugins which requires a Business plan upgrade.
Thank you.
