How to add a wiki?

  I am considering using wordpress.com for a blog site but one of the requirements is that I have to add a wiki to the blog.
  Can I do that?
  Or do I need a wordpress.org install?

  I’d greatly appreciate any input in this matter, thanks.

  You can’t embed a Wiki but you can link to an outside Wiki from your WordPress.COM site – sorry no recommendations for one to use – but a bit of Google use should be able to fine some that you can use.

  Right, that’s what I thought.

  In a wordpress.org installation I believe I can embed a wiki nicely in a sub page.
  Since this will be a professional site I’m quite hesitant to link to an outside wiki. It won’t look very professional…

  yes you should be able to embed a Wiki (or forum) directly into a WordPress.ORG install.

  I believe they have wiki and forum plugins to do just that

  Here’s a post on setting up an external wiki. Creating a custom menu and including a custom link to the wiki in it from a free hosted WordPress.com blog that may or may not interest you. I’m posting in as even if you don’t use it when this thread goes into the serachbox others who may want to do that will be able to find it.
