how to add "about me" widget on the sidebar

    What can i do to fix the two problems?

    1. I’d like to have “about me” widget on the sidebar, as in the template provided.
    2. I want my posts to be shown as summary on the homepage. I tried to go to setting>reading>for each article in a feed>summary, but it doesn’t work.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    On your second question,
    You can achieve this by going to Customize -> content options.
    In Blog display section, select Post excerpt option.
