How To Add Adsense In The Main Bar?

Add topic to favorites
I’m using a 3 column theme, i can only add the adsense in the sidebar widget. But i saw some of the blog they are having adsense just right beside their post (inside the main bar), how can i do that? Is it adding the adsense widget at the main bar? How to do this?

Pls. advise, TQ!

Adsense cannot be used on a WordPress.com hosted blog; it’s against the terms of service. If your blog is hosted elsewhere, you need to be at the forums at WordPress.org.

This is to let you know that adsense is not allowed on wordpress.com blogs. Please read this carefully http://faq.wordpress.com/2005/12/08/adsense/ Please also read the ToS http://wordpress.com/tos/ most particularly the purple part.

Advertising on our blogs at wordpress.com is limited to a single affiliate link on our About page or in our sidebar only. And we cannot use our blogs to drive traffic to third party sites.

If you want a monetized blog then you’re in the wrong place. You can hire a web host and download a free blog template from http://wordpress.org as those blogs run on different software and have different policies.

Is vanneyat on wp.com? I’m not showing a blog with that username.

And of course I have no way of telling if they are or not so we have to ask and cause more confusion. *grumble*

There’s nothing to figure out. You cannot have adsense or advertising on a wordpress.com blog. If you want to make a dollar or two here or there then you must
(1) leave wordpress.com
(2) hire a webhost
(3) have the web host download a wordpress.org blog for you.
