how to add adsense in wordpress.com blogs
-
Hello all,
i want to add adsense to my blog,,but there is plugin over here,,can anyone help me out. -
-
Considering that Adsense questions really are the most asked on here, is there any chance to maybe make another sticky for it?
-
Here’s an idea: every time someone posts a “new” topic that is only new to them because they didn’t bother to search the forums first, a question box should open that says: there are (X number) items on this topic already. Do you still want to post? Y/N
Might cut down drastically on the repeat questions.

I like the idea of every blogger being presented with a form prior to posting to the forum just like we are when we use the support link.
(1) wordpress.org
(2) adsense -
This is the form that I would like to see adapted for use when posting to the support forums.
Posting to the Support Forum
The first place to start is a search at our Frequently Asked Questions site.We have information on
*adsense and other advertising
*wordpress.org
* Images
* Music
* Stats
* Having your own domain (no ‘wordpress’ in the name)
* Widgets
* Themes
* Subscribing
* Pages
* Changing Names
* Google and many more.Please do read the FAQ – your question may be answered quicker.
Please also read this before sending in your question. The forums are useful and they have any news of significant issues.

We only support WordPress blogs hosted here on WordPress.com, so if your blog URL doesn’t have “wordpress.com” you should seek support elsewhere — if the problem is Akismet, this is also the right place.
Your Name: (required)
Your Email: (required)
URL of your blog: (required)
What’s this about?
Tell me something and describe the problem in detail please: -

I’m *rotflol* the template above can be found by clicking the “support” link on this page. YAY! for Mark.
The only alterations I made were changing the title from “Support” to “Posting to the Support Forum” and inserting these
*adsense and other advertising
*wordpress.org -

I think that you need to add something along the lines of:“…question may be answered quicker.
If you ask a question that has been answered in the FAQ, you will be roundly abused by any forum volunteer that finds your transgression.
Please also read…”
What do you think?

lol …. :-D
Opening up the forum to encourage verbal abuse IMHO would be a very bad move. At present I’m appalled that personal attacks are not being removed from forum threads.Here are two examples:
(1) In the last week I’ve already been the target of a nosy space cadet. She did not address the topic of the thread in her post but instead launched a personal attack on me. It was not deleted from the forum thread and she was not admonished by either the Moderator or staff.
(2) I’ve also been the target of a hippo woman, who was admonished by our Moderator for the personal attack but once again the personal attack was not deleted from the thread. -
Of course I was only joking as no-one should be subject to abuse in a help forum – but they couldn’t say they hadn’t been warned! I’m intrigued, though – what’s a hippo woman?

Well, given that neither staff nor our part-time moderator actually have the time or inclination to moderate these forums that’s probably inevitable. We have to look after ourselves around here.
On-topic: they won’t add a sticky about Adsense because sooner or later it’ll have to be rewritten, and no doubt the upgrade will be launched when official support is on holiday ;)

… LOL :-D

I still wonder if we should all take a weekend off sometime (oops, the renegade in me is showing).

“On-topic: they won’t add a sticky about Adsense “
or on
javascript
plugins
themes
…. and others.Stickies are read by some, ignored by some. It is the way of all forums everywhere.
Even if we had 5 pages of checkboxes about every subject there would still be a question to which they missed the answer.If I wrote and posted the most comprehensive possible answer on Ads / Adsense that distilled to perfection everything ever written here then someone would STILL post and say their 2p’s worth.
It’s how it is and it’s got nothing to do not wanting to or wanting to rewrite it. Really.

@timethief
Good for you!!! Have a great time tonight, and tomorrow night. We’ll hold down the forum (whoever we turns out to be).
