How to add ALT text to an image
-
I am trying to add ALT text to an image in my media library. I went to wp-admin and pulled up the image. There is a box there to enter the ALT text, but there is no blue update button. How do I save the ALT text?

Hi there,
In the grid-view of the media library there isn’t a save button, but instead we auto-save changes you make there. After typing the ALT text you should see a spinning icon top-right of the overlay. Once it stops spinning it will say Saved.
If you switch the media library to the list view using the icons top-left and edit images from that view you’ll see an update button.
