How to add an 'evil popup' form using the Mailchimp popup widget
-
Hi, first off I understand this question has been asked multiple times, but I still cannot seem to find an answer that makes any sense in my situation, which I will now explain to the best of my abilities. (I am still a newb in all this)
I have made a WordPress free account (xxxx.wordpress.com), built my website with the available tools, and now am looking to add a popup form to subscribe to a newsletter when people first go to my website.
I have made a Mailchimp account and created both a List and a Popup Form.
From the popup form, I took the html code and pasted it into the specific mailchimp popup widget in wordpress, which I have put in ‘Front page three’ widget section of my website. Now, from what I understand I took all the necessary steps, but I assume I must be missing something, as no sign up form is popping up when I enter my website (after clearing cookies on the browser of course).
I appreciate all the feedback you guys can give me, it was all going fine and dandy until now. Please just keep in mind I’m still new to this :)
Thanks!
