  I am new to creating sites and SEO. What is the best way to use anchor text?

  For example, are you wanting various words within the text of your site to link to other websites on the Internet? Example: https://wordpress.com/support/links/

  Or, are you wanting various words within the text of your site to “jump”, when clicked, to other areas on the same page of your site? Example: https://wordpress.com/support/splitting-content/page-jumps/
