how to add arrows to navigate between pictures

    Hi, i am a photographer and i just built my first site for my portfolio.
    It wasn’t easy but i’m very satisfied with what i could achieve.
    The only thing i cannot figure out how to do, and it’s not included in the theme i used, is how to add arrows to go to the next or previous photo in the galleries, without having to click on the thumbnails.
    How can i do it? Is there a plugin for that?
