How to add author names to front page of site?
-
I’m using the Expound theme, and it looks great! I’d like to add author names to each post on the front page. Does anyone know if this is possible? I have the CSS upgrade. I’ve been searching the theme CSS without success.
Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There’s a single author workaround you can use free of charge. Scroll down to “Work-around for single Author bloggers who do wish to have a byline display on their posts” here http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/01/03/wordpress-com-changes-bylines-for-authors/

Thanks, but this site has multiple authors. So I assume this is controlled by the theme.

I forgot about that thread! Thanks for the workaround. I think that maintaining tags for each author isn’t really gonna work elegantly, with multiple authors it seems like it’s an accident waiting to happen. I’d rather find another theme.
I’m just looking to get author bylines on the front page. It doesn’t matter if they’re links or not, I just want writers to get credit in as many places as possible. Not having that on the front page seems wrong to me.

That’s understandable! It looks like you can’t use the theme showcase to filter themes like that yet but you might try Google searching all the theme descriptions to see which specifically mention “multi-author” and then trying out the ones it mentions.
