How to add blog post excerpts on the front page

  Hi! I cant show my blog excerpts on the front page of my blog. How do I do it? Thanks!

  Where did you want them to display on the front page?

  It looks like you’ve got the Front Page Template set on the static front page. On the Sela theme, the static front page with that template isn’t designed to display blog excerpts, although it is possible to accomplish using display posts shortcode inserted into a text widget. See the Display Posts Shortcode support page.

  Alternatively, you may set the front to display the latest posts instead of a static page. The relevant setting is described and illustrated here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/#2-set-a-static-front-page.
