How to add border to a column? (potentially using custom css?)

    I would like to add a border to a regular column block, but there’s no option for it under style:

    Would it be possible to add a border using custom css, and if so, would someone be willing to provide me with the code to do?

    Hi! It looks like you’re viewing the width settings in your screenshot above; the column border settings are located on the Styles side – click the black/white circle that’s just below the ‘Learn More’ link shown in your screenshot to get to those additional settings including the border options which are the at the end of the list.

    Yeah sorry I gave the wrong screenshot. However, borders is not available either in the styles tab.

    What can I do?

    Hello there,

    Typically, the border option will show in the Columns Block. Could you please provide a link to the specific site and the page or post you see this behavior on? That will help us to troubleshoot the cause of the issue.

    Hi again, this is actually happening while editing drafts and posts, as you can see, and it’s happening to both my websites. If that helps, neither are upgraded?

    I see what you mean! I took the liberty of having a look at your site theoverlyselfrighteouscritic.com – the border options should be there, but it seems like they’re not showing for you.

    That said, there are a couple of other things which appear to be not working as expected on your site; for example when checking theoverlyselfrighteouscritic.com it looks like you don’t have access to manage your plugins, which normally you should. Just to check, is there anything else which isn’t working the way you’d expect – and if so, would you know when that issue kicked in?

    The reason I’m asking is that I think there’s something more going on with theoverlyselfrighteouscritic.com and I’d like to help resolve it!

    Instead on one of your free sites https://yumifmb.home.blog/ I am definitely seeing the column border option appear – that one at least seems to be working correctly. What was the address of the other site where you weren’t seeing the border option for a single column?
