How to add Button and scripts in HTML to the page.
-
Hello.
I am using a free WordPress blog. I want to create a button and add a script to HTML Tab on the page.
Page show 2 options – Visual and HTML
Currently, when I try to add the button using HTML code, it appears as a text and also when I add a script in HTML and go to the Visual tab of the page, the script automatically disappears.
Please guide me how to add a button and HTML script to the blog post page…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@learnatmyspace, one way to add a button is to create an image for the button and then insert it and link that image to where you want it to take visitors. In many instances, you can work around not being able to use script. If you can explain a bit more what the script is meant to do, perhaps we can come up with a suggested work-around.

Hello…
My idea is to add a button and a counter label (text) in a post to get likes. It will be for the non wordpress users who cannot like because of unavailability of account. -

@learnatmyspace, I don’t know of anyway to do that without using Javascript, and we cannot use that here at WordPress.com, except with the WordPress.com Business plan upgrade.
