How to add copyright notation w/free account?
-
From what I can gather, the only way to add copyright notation at the bottom of a page/site is to upgrade, so that you can customize the CSS. Is this true? Unless you choose a theme which allows for a jerry-rigged footer?
If I’m mistaken, what are my options? I’m using the theme Dusk to Dawn. I’ve been through every setting, but I’ve come up empty for solutions. Despite liking this theme, I’d be open to switching if another theme would offer the ability to add the copyright notation. I’m open to thinking outside the box.
Thanks in advance!

Hi there!
You can use the Text Widget to add a copyright notice to your site (to a sidebar or footer menu). You can do this on a free WP.com site, and I see that you currently have an active sidebar with the theme that you are using. Or, you even create a page for it, if you wish. All depends where you want it to be located on your site :)

This was the perfect option/solution! And the link you provided gave me additional information that I didn’t yet know the questions to ask for. I greatly appreciate everything. Thanks!
