How to add custom sidebar in Triton lite theme

Hi – I would like to create a sidebar that only appears on one or a select few pages of my site (namely, the internship database). In this sidebar, I will include a categories menu.

I have already created a custom menu called “Categories Menu,” but if I add it to an existing sidebar, it’s going to appear on every page. I only want it to appear on the internship database page (and perhaps other internship pages, as well).

Conversely, I could nest the menu into a page, which would also work well.

    I appreciate any help!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi, you can use the Widget Visibility feature to limit the display of widgets to only certain, or a single page, if you like.

Lovely! I did not know this existed. Thank you.

What about placing the custom menu into a page?

    Great!

Since Triton Lite is a fixed width theme, we could use absolute positioning to move a custom menu widget into the content area of a page. Which page are you talking about?
