How to Add Different Post to Different Pages

  So I’m trying to make my website look cleaner by putting up different pages on the menu, but I don’t know how to add the posts for specific pages. Example, I want to add the post under category ‘coffee’ to the page menu ‘food’, and another post under category ‘beaches’ to the page ‘travel’. How do I do that? I tried the query loop that was shared in the help section, but not all features shows up I guess because of the current theme that I use.
