Hello,
WordPress.com blogs don’t allow Javascript code such as that to be posted: https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/#javascript -
@knitterbag – As micawbr said, you can’t use the code on WPcom that you get from Etsy for the Etsy Mini.
You can take a screenshot of your Etsy mini on Etsy, throw it into a image editing program, crop it, resize it and then upload it to your Media Library. You can then use the image in an Image Widget to display the “mini” and link it to your shop. https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/
You can see it in action on a site here: https://yarnaholic.wordpress.com/ No, unfortunately, it won’t update automatically. (sigh)
There is an alternate method suggested here: https://soul2sparkle.wordpress.com/2011/07/24/how-to-create-an-etsy-mini-widgit-for-wordpress-com-using-html/ but it, too, won’t update automatically.
