How to Add Featured Images in Baskerville
-
Hi guys,
Beginner’s question probably, but I can’t seem to get a photo added to my blogpost on my default page, even though the demonstration page of Baskerville 2 does show photos. It should be possible…
I checked this:
http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-featured-image-or-post-thumbnails-in-wordpress/I do find a way to add a photo to my post, through the settings of the post, but when adding the photo appears between the title and post, but not on my homepage with the summary description.
I hope you understand the issue and know the solution!
Thanks :)

Hi,
The information and suggestions on the site wpbeginner.com are aimed at those with WordPress.org sites, and are inappropriate with respect to WordPress.com sites.
but when adding the photo appears between the title and post, but not on my homepage with the summary description.
Does your site have the Baskerville 2 theme? The images on the blog page of the Baskerville 2 demo are featured images. Adding images to the content of posts will not produce featured images. See the Featured Images support page.

Ah now I get it, I wanted a featured image with a quote and that didn’t work. So I assumed it didnt function at all. Thank you very much :)
