how to add featured posts

  I added feature posts to the category but it wont show up in the header. Why?

  Featured images appear only on posts and not on dynamic category pages.

  That isn’t what the issue is. I am trying to make one of my posts a featured post on the Gazette theme, and it won’t let me change the category to be a featured post. Super frustrating for a beginner wordpress user.

  I have the same problem and would love to get an answer.
  Wordpress as such is quite familiar, but this is a new feature I’m trying to learn now

  Hello,

  Can you please go to Customize->Featured content and set any tag over there

  This will make any of the posts with that tag display above header.

  E.g. if you have posts tagged with say ‘Book’, then assign ‘Book’ as featured content by going to above mentioned path. It will show posts above header as seen on demo site.
